How To Donate Trees?

• Podakahani prefers, you donate to us trees rather than money. If you are not around and still want to donate the trees in the form of money, here is what you need to know.

  • Offer a spot for tree
  • Take care of planted trees in your vicinity
  • Frequent updates on health of your donated trees
  • Participate in plantation drives
  • Find us spots for new trees
  • Plantation will be carried out by volunteers

  Why do we prefer planting a 7-10 feet tall tree?

  Because it is unaffected by external factors like humans, plants grazing animals and has a higher probability of surviving. Our trees will have the highest ratio of survival unless someone decides to bring in the big guns that are a camel or an Argentinosaurus:) It is also less likely to be affected by weather or disease.

  A taller tree becomes mature faster hence an early shade for at least 2 people in the very next season is the result. Here is the example of Baqain (Melia Azedarach) we planted in February 2025. It is already taller and out of reach of humans and animals.
