Founder
Hassan founded Podakahani not just as an NGO, but as a lifelong commitment, a legacy he wishes to leave behind. His dream is to see Pakistan and the world wrapped in green, where urban landscapes hum with life and biodiversity. Every sapling we plant is a promise to future generations: that we will not stand by while deforestation robs them of their natural heritage. This is more than a project, it’s a movement to heal the planet, one tree and one story at a time.

Social Media Head
I am the founder of PodaKahani.org. I am just another earth inhabitant who believes that earth and humans can only coexist when both take care of each other. Earth has been taking care of humans forever now. It’s time we humans do the same. I am in love with greenery and any time of the day I will choose a green roundabout overflowing with trees, plants, shrubs and chirping birds and colorful butterflies and insects rather than a monument.
Mehak Fatima
Head of Events
She is the creative spark behind Podakahani’s most vibrant events and competitions. Passionate about bringing people together for a greener Pakistan, she transforms plantation drives, rooftop garden workshops, and “Kiyari” contests into joyful celebrations of nature. When she’s not planning community gatherings, she finds inspiration with a paintbrush in hand or penning her thoughts in a journal
Haseeb Sherazi
Head of Research
Haseeb is the curious mind behind Podakahani’s research efforts, constantly exploring plant species and experimenting with grafting and innovative gardening techniques. His fascination with nature goes beyond admiration, he studies it, learns from it, and applies that knowledge to help Podakahani choose the most resilient, eco-friendly, and impactful plants for urban forests.
Jahanzaib Aslam
Legal Advisor
Jahanzaib is Podakahani’s trusted Legal Advisor, specializing in tax law and compliance. He ensures our work remains transparent, lawful, and built on a strong foundation, so our mission to plant and protect trees can grow without obstacles.
Muhammad Tanveer Azhar
Head of Photography
An Architect, a photographer, and now Podakahani’s Head of Photography. Disturbed by Pakistan’s rapid deforestation and how we are silently killing nature, Tanveer has joined the cause to fight back with his camera. Every shot he takes is more than art, it’s a plea to protect what’s left, a reminder of the beauty we’re losing, and a call to action for a greener, living Pakistan.
